Pastoral Care
Our schools integrate a Christian world view of love of God and neighbour, and thus the equal dignity of all persons as children of God.
We live this naturally integrated within our schools, fully respecting the individual faiths of our students and their families. Our Roman Catholic students and faculty receive Pastoral Support from the Priests of the Holy Cross and Opus Dei.
We celebrate Holy Mass periodically during the term, and offer access to the Sacrament of Reconciliation to all members of our school community.
The Chapel at Rosewood-Trimont College is also open on school days to be accessed by all Members of our school community – students, parents, teachers & Administration.
Spiritual Development
Faith Integration (the core of our success): The EDFAM family of schools fosters Catholic teachings and principles within the daily activities of the school. This integration of faith, which encourages prayer and sacrifice to sustain the effort to sanctify the student’s daily life, aims to foster a commitment to moral values, spiritual growth, and the pursuit of holiness through everyday activities. Thus the school helps students incorporate into their lives certain practices such as daily prayer, identifying and meditating on feast days, saints, virtue of the month and through our Pastoral Care. Students are encouraged to live out their faith and understand its relevance in all aspects of their lives.
We provide structured classroom exposure in support of these objectives through our Religious Education and Alive to the World programmes.
